The hosts were friendly and the cottage itself was cosy and comfortable. the accommodation was clean and well-equipped, with a spacious kitchen and amenities like a TV and WiFi. the location was great for exploring the Isle of Lewis and the nearby town of Stornoway. the view from the property was amazing, providing a beautiful backdrop for breakfast in the garden.
Finding the property was a bit challenging due to the lack of assistance from Google Maps. the fridge temperature was set too low, which resulted in our milk and yogurts not being cold in the morning.

I had a very comfortable and cozy stay at this self catering place in a semi residential area. The host was incredibly welcoming and helped resolve a minor issue promptly. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom heater was a lifesaver on colder days. The location was also convenient for exploring the west side of Lewis and Harris. I was very satisfied with the value I got from my stay.

Great value for money for a self, catering place. . Convenient location for exploring the surrounding area. Best aspect:. Very comfortable bed and a great heater in the bathroom.
Lacked some basic amenities like a potato peeler and pegs for the washing line. . Small pans in the kitchen made self, catering a bit challenging.

Lochs Cottage provided all the necessary facilities for a comfortable self-catering experience. the cottage was clean and comfortable, and I particularly appreciated the extra comfy bed and the brilliant shower. the cottage also had good television reception and WiFi, although the internet signal was a bit intermittent. the location was convenient, with a bus stop right outside for easy access to Stornoway. I had a great time and felt very welcome upon arrival. Cons: Nothing, all was good. 👍.
